Mary Rochelle Burnham has been creating portraits by commission since the tender age of eleven. It has been her philosophy to find beauty in every individual she has drawn whether as a formal portrait painting or as a five minute caricature. Mary holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the College for Creative Studies of Detroit in Graphic Communications. Mary has worked as a caricaturist, freelance illustrator, fine artist, courtroom sketch artist and teacher. She is a member of several art associations and art clubs and has received numerous awards for her work. Some of her clients have included: Eastern Michigan University, University of Michigan, Children's Hospital, St. Joseph Hospital, Ford Motor Company, Seimens, Hour Magazine, Crain's Business Detroit, The Associated Press, CNN, Fox News, WDIV Channel 4 and many, many others.
